Container Fee: Depending on the plan you request, you can pay a one-time fee of $60 for reusable containers or $15 per session for disposable containers. Reusable containers (glass Pyrex or similar), may be purchased. A $100 deposit is required. This amount generally covers a set of 8 to 10 containers. Any amount for unused containers will be refunded to you. Any additional pieces that are required, costing more than $100, will be added to your balance.
The reason for a container fee (customarily charged by most Private Chefs) is to ensure: a) that proper and sufficient containers are available to package all entres and side dishes b) easy and proper storage in the refrigerator or freezer (which ever you prefer) and c) that containers seal properly and securely
